Supra

Product Type: Commercial

Multi-functional flue system primarily designed for gas and kerosene fired appliances which produce condensates in the flue gase.

  • Single wall: Type 316L stainless steel
  • Fully welded construction
  • Available in 1mm 316L stainless steel
  • Purpose designed support components available
  • Factory fitted and bonded seals as standard on 0.5mm version

Supra is a single-wall pre-fabricated stainless steel flue system, primarily designed for high efficiency gas and kerosene (28Sec) oil fired condensing appliances, which produce high levels of condensates and operate under positive pressure conditions. Supra is manufactured from corrosion resistant 0.5mm 316L grade stainless steel and covers a diameter range from 80mm to 350mm internal diameter. All Supra components in this range are supplied with factory fitted and bonded seals.

Supra is also available in a 1mm 316L variant, covering diameters 180mm to 600mm internal diameter, making it an ideal solution for commercial re-lining of existing chimney stacks. Although Supra 1mm is supplied without seals, they can be ordered separately and retrofitted to the product before installation, should condensate and pressure resistance be required.

Requirements:

Where used on condensing applications, the Supra product must be used with seals and installed so that there is a minimum of 5° rise to the horizontal to allow for drainage of condensation back through the chimney system.  Where there is the possibility that the flue gas temperature could exceed 60° and there is the possibility of accidential contact, SFL would recommend that the Nova SM product is considered.

Nova SM should also be considered where Supra is looking to be used externally for condensing applications due to the potential for freezing of condensation under adverse weather conditions.
